How can I import vocabulary into Langua?

In the app: Go to Cards > Actions > Import. There, you can add words or phrases. If you don't choose to add the translations, our AI will generate these for you.

If you're on the website: Go to Build my Vocab, and on the page with your vocab, near the top you'll see an Import button. There, you can add vocab like you can in the app, but you'll also find instructions for bulk import of vocabulary. This requires copying a Google Sheets template. Make sure to read the instructions in the Google Sheet as the data must go in the correct columns for the import to work successfully. Try to avoid repeatedly importing the same vocabulary, as it can occasionally cause issues.

Pro tip: Some learners like to use the Bulk Import feature to import their Anki decks. If you'd like to do the same, here's how you can do it:

1) If Note Type is not Basic consider changing to Basic.

2)File->Export->Export format->Cards in Plain Text

3) Uncheck "Include HTML and Media References".

4) Select deck->Export

5) Move file to Google Drive'

6)  Copy the vocab into the Google Sheets template mentioned above and import it.
